Event Report: Nissha Main Hall Opened at the Kyoto Modern Architecture Festival
On Saturday, November 2nd and Sunday, November 3rd, 2024, a tour of the Nissha Main Hall and Nissha Museum of Printing History was held as a participating facility in the Kyoto Modern Architecture Festival.
Organized by the Kyoto Modern Architecture Festival Executive Committee and co-hosted by Kyoto City, this event is a project to simultaneously open to the public the attractive modern architecture that still exists in Kyoto. It started in 2022 as a commemorative project for the Agency for Cultural Affairs’ Kyoto relocation. During the event, various events related to modern architecture were held simultaneously in various locations in Kyoto City.
The tour of Nissha Mueum of Printing History, which was open to participants by reservation in advance, quickly reached capacity and we received positive feedback from participants.
